The Orlando family originated in northern Sicily in the town of Tusa located within the province of Messenia (known as The Gateway to Sicily). Arriving in the town of Tusa you would travel around Capo d’ Orlando (considered an important fishing village in the province of Messina) located in the area of Nebrodi, a small Sicilian mountain chain offering magnificent views of the Aeolian Islands.
